Journey is a secure living history attached to an authenticated object. The physical timepiece is the anchor; the archive holds what accumulated around it. Watches come first — the same record is built to carry jewelry and other heirlooms.

A service record signed by an authorized watchmaker and a memory written on a Tuesday evening are both worth keeping — but they are not the same kind of claim. Journey marks every Chapter with its provenance status, so an authenticated fact is never confused with a personal recollection, and a personal recollection is never treated as lesser.
Personal memories are never public by default, and custodian contact details are never published.
