The Dial
Stone beneath

The LN003 Georgian Bay is a mechanical chronograph inspired by one of Canada’s most distinctive landscapes — a meeting place of ancient stone, cold open water, weathered metal and shifting ice.
At its centre is a dial cut from natural Canadian shield fluorescing syenite stone (yooperlite), chosen not for perfect uniformity, but for exactly the opposite. Mineral inclusions, texture and colour vary naturally from stone to stone, giving every LN003 its own character. Under changing light, the dial moves between deep charcoal and blue-black, with flashes of mineral colour appearing beneath the sapphire.
Warm naval-brass accents provide a deliberate counterpoint. Applied hour markers, subdial surrounds and carefully selected details reference the fittings and instruments of working vessels, developing character rather than simply showing age.
Surrounding the dial, an ice-field-inspired rehaut adds another layer of Georgian Bay to the watch. Its fractured geometry recalls the broken sheets of winter ice that form along the shoreline, creating texture and depth beneath the crystal without competing with the natural stone.
The Case
A chronograph
with presence.
LN003 combines the purposeful stance of a dive watch with the precision and complexity of the classic racing chronograph.
Its substantial 42 mm stainless-steel case is sculpted around a mechanical 7750 architecture, with the chronograph registers arranged vertically at 12, 9 and 6 o’clock. Broad lugs, pronounced case flanks and carefully controlled transitions give the watch visual weight while keeping the 48.5 mm lug-to-lug dimension wearable.
Above it sits a fixed tachymètre bezel with a thin, flat insert. Rather than reproducing a rotating dive bezel, the fixed architecture gives LN003 a cleaner silhouette and connects the watch to the visual language of historic sporting chronographs.
A 31.5 mm double-domed sapphire crystal rises proudly above the bezel. We deliberately chose not to hide it. Its curvature catches light, creates subtle distortion toward the edge of the dial and gives the watch the character of vintage tool watches without sacrificing modern sapphire durability.

Linn & North watches aren’t designed around the assumption that every surface should begin perfectly identical.
Stone varies. Brass develops patina. Reclaimed material carries marks from whatever it was before.
We consider those differences part of the material rather than defects to be engineered away. Functional dimensions are controlled precisely; character is given room to remain.
That philosophy means no two Georgian Bay watches can be exactly alike. The pattern of the stone, its mineral inclusions and the eventual evolution of its brass details belong specifically to the watch — and eventually to its owner.
