About the ST1901
Sea-Gull’s hand-wound chronograph, built in Tianjin around a column wheel, the traditional way of coordinating a chronograph’s start, stop and reset. Its design traces back to the Venus 175. With no automatic rotor, the whole chronograph works in plain view: blued screws, gilt wheels and the column wheel itself, well suited to a display caseback. It is wound by hand at the crown.
